Tutira Lodge is a friendly, relaxed and quirky Homestay, located only 40 minutes outside the beautiful coastal town of Napier.
Set on an authentic working pig farm in the hills close to Lake Tutira, we offer a great base from which to explore all the area has to offer. Fishing, hunting, tramping and even tours from the air can be accessed easily and in a short drive from Tutira Lodge. If peace and relaxation are more your thing, feel free to kick back with a good book in our communal lounge looking out over the beautiful scenery
Our accommodation is comfortable and clean with bags of rustic charm. We can cater for groups or individuals, seasonal workers, nature lovers; anyone seeking an authentic kiwi countryside experience!

Tutira Lodge Homestay has five guest rooms, which can accommodate 17 people in total. Our rooms can be let individually, to couples, or families.

Who
we are
Tutira Lodge is set on a working farm, where pigs, sheep and cows roam acres of rolling hills.
You soon realise that the Farm also acts as a local hub where neighbours and friends gather to to share stories and a beer or two, so you're sure to meet some interesting local characters during your stay!
The Tutira area has been farmed by the Ashton family for over 60 years, so you will find no better guide to the local area.
